The Last Day of Fall

Our neighborhood is beautiful during Fall – the leaves are so colorful and vibrant – and Fall has quickly become my new favorite season!  Charlie and I took advantage of the 70 degree (!!) weather we had the other day to take a walk around our neighborhood lake.  If any of you have ever taken a walk with a toddler, you know this was an incredibly slow walk, with a lot of picking up of leaves, sticks, and acorns.  So I decided to snap a few photos along the way to pass the time.  I only wish I had done this sooner before half the leaves had fallen off!

Naturally, the ducks were a huge hit.

I’m just grateful we snapped these photos when we did, because the next day it snowed!  We truly did capture the last day of Fall.

  1. These are so beautiful. Jacob is your wife studying photography? I have a niece who lives in “The Isle of Palms, S.C. She is really into photography now and uses her son as the object of daily photos and I believe it is titled “one Boy Photography” I don’t think this is right. LOL. But you two have something in common and may want to share ideas. Let me know and I’ll let Jan know!

    • Thanks Patti! I am not studying photography but I have a nice camera so that helps even the most inexperienced photographer take good photos 🙂 I would like to get better, though, and would love to see your niece’s blog!
